Behind the Scene Entertainment Jobs
What most of us do not know is that there are other individuals involved in creating productions that become our source of entertainment. They are the ones who work behind the scenes and are those who are not really recognised in the work scheme of the business. Some of these jobs are very technical, while others lean more towards the artistic side, but all collaborate together for the creative process.
For example, there is the camera pilot who is responsible for flying the aircraft where the aerial camera crew will shoot footage from when they take to the skies. They are also involved in handling hot air balloons, aeroplanes, helicopters, and other kinds of aircraft that are used as props in motion pictures. Whenever you watch an action movie with an exciting car chase scene, which shows the whole highway where the pursuit is taking place, you know that a camera pilot helped in making that part.
If you are fond of family flicks that involve animals, you might wonder how they get the dogs, cats, and other characters to act. The answer is through animal trainers, the persons responsible for conditioning the animals to do tricks and actions. Another job is that of the dolly grip, the one responsible for holding the wheeled platform where the cameraman and the camera are mounted. That movable stage is called the “dolly”. Then there is also the best boy, who is the top electrician in the group. His job involves facilitating the Lighting Technicians, logistics, and paperwork related to the electrical aspect of the production.
There are many more individuals who work from behind the scenes, and so there are many opportunities to join the entertainment industry.
