All about the Entertainment Industry
The entertainment industry is a broad sector in the tertiary economy comprised of a large number of sub-sectors focusing solely on entertainment alone. The term entertainment industry, however, may also be applied in the mass media to denote companies in such area, which control the production and distribution and mass media entertainment.
Some of the groups of individuals and companies doing business within the entertainment industry includes, but is not limited to, musical ensembles, orchestras, stage play and circus performers, motion picture businesses, and operators of theme parks. Although the industry comprises multiple companies offering entertainment in the form of services, the most widely known sub-sector is the motion picture business. Majority of motion picture companies produce certain films by working primarily with celebrities, who also work under the industry umbrella. Whether you like it or not, the entertainment industry will always be here to stay.
